PLAINLY EXPLAINED
Behind the result - No mystery in the method
Words available for stories = total word budget − words reserved for introduction and closing. Whole words are shared equally across the non-empty story-title lines; any remainder goes to the earliest titles, one word each. Each title must have at least one word available.
The result is an issue outline, not finished articles. It keeps your story order, optional audience, date and editorial notes. It does not count words in a manuscript, verify claims, collect subscribers, secure permissions, publish content or send email.
Across every tool: it does not submit a complaint to any body, does not fetch, validate or confirm bookings, live prices or exact rates, does not fetch live data, and does not store data on a server. All planning inputs come from you and remain in this browser tab unless you choose to print, download or share them. Blank optional fields are omitted. Text is displayed literally, not interpreted as HTML.
A FEW USEFUL ANSWERS
Before you go
Does this write or send a newsletter?
No. It organises titles and word allocations only. You write, review and distribute any newsletter using your own tools.
How do reserved words affect the result?
Reserved words are kept for the introduction and closing. Only the remainder is divided among story titles, with whole-word rounding shown in the method.
Can I export an editorial brief?
Yes. The print view and text download include your title list, word targets and any notes you entered. They do not create a subscriber list or publish an issue.
Does the site store my details?
The planning code does not send or save your inputs to a server or use browser storage. They remain in this page’s memory until cleared, reloaded or closed. A browser may independently restore form values. Downloads, print queues and files you share are under your control.
