YOUR DETAILS, IN CONTEXT

Privacy Policy

How browser-only planning differs from the ordinary operation of a website.

Effective: 31 October 2026

Scope

This policy describes the Civic Magazine planning tools as supplied. It covers the inputs you enter, generated results and ordinary site delivery. The site operator is responsible for keeping this notice accurate if hosting settings, themes, plugins or external services change.

Planning inputs and results

Planning calculations run in your browser. The planning code does not submit your field values, results or notes to the website’s server, add them to a URL, or save them in cookies, local storage or session storage. The current result exists in the page’s memory. Clear it with Clear all, or leave or reload the page. Browsers may independently restore form values, retain pages in memory or sync device data according to your settings.

Ordinary web requests

Loading a website necessarily sends ordinary request information to hosting and network providers. Server or security logs may include an IP address, request time, requested page, browser information and referrer information. This is distinct from planning inputs, which the tools do not send. Exact log retention and provider processing depend on the operator’s hosting configuration; this package does not set those periods.

No built-in tracking or advertising

The supplied planning interface does not load advertising, analytics scripts, third-party fonts or external calculation APIs. It does not implement accounts, subscriptions or a contact submission form. Other WordPress components or hosting services may have their own processing; the operator should review them before publishing the site.

Prints, downloads and sharing

A text download is created locally by your browser. Printing passes the plan to your browser and chosen print destination. Files, print queues, screenshots, cloud-synced folders and copies you share are controlled by your device or the services you choose, not by the planning tool. Delete or protect those copies separately.

Sensitive information and other people

Use only the detail you actually need. Avoid identification numbers, financial account data, precise private addresses, health information or information about other people without a proper reason and permission. A personal issue record should focus on your own observations, not private allegations about identifiable people.

Questions and choices

You can use the tools without registration, clear a current plan and choose not to download or share a copy. The Contact page states whether a verified operator contact has been published. The supplied code has no server-side planning record to retrieve or delete; requests about hosting logs must be addressed to the site operator through a verified channel.

Changes to this policy

The operator should update this page and its effective date before enabling a new data-collecting feature. A policy statement is not a substitute for checking the actual hosting, WordPress plugins and services in use.
